Fort Hunt College Lacrosse Fans,                                                                                     April 20, 2014

To celebrate Fort Hunt Youth Lacrosse’s 25th Anniversary, our club has on hold 100 discounted 3-day tickets to the NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Championship in Baltimore over Memorial weekend.  NCAA Selection Sunday is in 2 weekends with the first round starting shortly thereafter.  Some of the top Div I teams that you may see in the "final 4" include: Maryland, Duke, Syracuse, North Carolina, Loyola, Johns Hopkins, Notre Dame, Cornell, and Virginia.  The NCAA Men’s Championships are slated for Philadelphia in 2015 & 2016 so it will be a few years before we have the convenience of watching the top college teams in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor.  Fifteen Fort Hunt families have already purchased 60 group discounted tickets/parking directly from the Baltimore Ravens ticket office.  Fans will find it difficult to purchase tickets this inexpensive.  Ravens' Club seats currently run $135-$350 and sideline seats run $160-$300 plus fees.  Similar tickets on Stub Hub and Ticketmaster are much more expensive and include exorbitant fees.  Fort Hunt still has on hold about 40 3-day tickets in section 105 which are the next best thing since these end zone seats are inexpensive but are still adjacent to more expensive sideline seats in sections 103-100.

Sat, May 24,  1300:  Div I Semifinal 1.
                        1530:  Div I Semifinal 2.
Sun, May 25,  1300:  Div III Championship.
                        1600:  Div II Championship.
Mon, May 26, 1300:  Div I Championship.

TICKETS COST $69 EA:  The Ravens Ticket office is holding about 40 tickets on the team bench side of the stadium for a short period.  By way of comparison, NCAA/Ravens recently announced a single “session” pre-sale offer costing $50 for end zone seats on Saturday.  Therefore, even if you only use 1-day of your 3-day tickets w/Fort Hunt in section 105, you’ll make out since you could resell the other 2-days.  Some fans purchase enough tickets to fill their vehicle, than invite additional teammates as Memorial weekend approaches.

TAILGATE TENT:  Rather than have our group spread over multiple parking lots, we thought we’d try to consolidate in a single lot.  Therefore, Fort Hunt also rented a Raven’s tent for 3-days in tailgate/RV village of </a></a>,-76.627968,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m2!3m1!1s0x89c803450a4f81bb:0x9d34afc6e14e2d33">Parking Lot O (South-West of stadium) for about $50/family (depending on number of families participating).  Each family could bring their own food/drink and share grills.  The 20’ x 20’ “Fort Hunt Youth Lacrosse” tent takes up 2 parking spaces which should shield us from rain/sun.

PARKING/TRANSPORTATION:  3-day parking pass costs $55.  However, parking will be VERY limited since the 20K Orioles fans will use half of Camden Yards area parking lots (A, B, C, F, K, L)? for their 4-day home stand vs. the Indians (Thu night, Fri night, Sat afternoon, and Sun early afternoon).  These Orioles games directly conflict with four NCAA games on Sat & Sun.  Therefore, most Ravens “in-close” lots are sold out (lots D, E, G, H, J, M, N).  If you want to avoid distant parking (lots 1, 2, 3), then plan to park for free at </a></a>,-76.645655,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m2!3m1!1s0x89c81d540d3873e9:0xe881b7244dd015bd">North Linthicum Light Rail Station near I-695 beltway and ride MTA Light Rail to stadium (15-min).  Perhaps you could work a deal with one of the thirteen Fort Hunt families that already purchased parking in Lot O to haul your cooler of food/drink?  Then walk from light trail station to tailgate Lot O.

LAXPERIENCE FAN FEST is a FREE fan festival just outside of M&T Bank Stadium.  This fun-filled, interactive area allows fans of any age a chance to experience the thrills, excitement and spirit of college lacrosse.  Whether you try your hand at various skills, get autographs and pictures with well-known laxers, watch live entertainment, or just kick back with some of Baltimore’s best food and drink…this is the place to be on the day of the big game!

ORDERING IS SIMPLE:   the number of 3-day tickets ($69 ea), 3-day parking pass ($55), and if you plan to use Fort Hunt tailgate tent (about $50).  Then Keith will provide Raven’s phone and account numbers for you to call in and pay for your order.  It may be helpful if you could combine your ticket order with another family to purchase 6-10 tickets in single payment.  A list of Fort Hunt families that already purchased group tickets is at > For Parents > NCAA Championships.
